One of the most Iconic photos you can take of of the Empire State Building is from Dumbo, Brooklyn. It is shot through the Manhattan Bridge "legs" as I like to call them. There are also many other great shots you can get while over there. Jane's Carousel is great on weekends with the kids playing and family time, but also during the week when it is empty can make an amazing moody capture.
Getting there: The Carousel is located in the DUMBO section of The Brooklyn Bridge Park, on the East River, between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. The Carousel is easily accessed from Park entrances at Dock Street or Main Street. http://janescarousel.com

Bethesda Fountain after Stella
Bethesda Terrace is considered the heart of Central Park. In their original plan, Park designers Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux envisioned a sweeping Promenade (the Mall) that led to a grand terrace overlooking the Lake. The magnificent carvings represent the four seasons and, on the side facing the Mall, the times of day.
Today, Central Park Conservancy employs a sculptor (who I met briefly) to care for the amazing sandstone carvings and sculpture and a zone gardener and their crew to take care of the landscapes. In the summer, aquatic plantings such as water lilies and lotus are placed in the fountain, reviving a 19th century tradition.
A great spot for photo opportunities and to watch the world go by.
A perfect view from the R Lounge in the Renaissance Hotel
A new cocktail lounge that I have just discovered is the R Lounge. I was invited to join Tom Jauncey the Co-founder of @Beautifuldestinations to join them for a shoot collab with the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square.
I was more than happy to put my feet up and sip a champange and watch the world go by.
A great tip for a time-lapse video is to put your iPhone up against the video. It's one of the best locations in the world to grab the amazing visuals of life go by.
At least once a year I buy City Pass tickets to go and visit my favoriate NYC locations. I just find it the easiest and most economical way to get into the bucket list locations. When it comes to museums this is one of most favourite.

Where is my unicorn? I feel like I should be riding one every time I put on my Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Glitter Sneaks. I love all versions, but especially the mid's. Great all year round. Love them with skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans with a lil cuff. Or in summer with a cute skirt or shorts. My golden rule is shoes "make" the outfit. If there is one thing you spend money on is the shoes. You can be wearing the most expansive Chanel suit, but if you have cheap shoes on you can always tell.... but I do believe you can get away with the opposite a great high street brand like Zara or Topshop can be taken up several levels with a great pair of shoes. Invest in these (dont buy lots of cheap) just buy a few awesome pairs and you are set.
